FREEMASONS
|
Secrecy, mysticism and the practice of pagan rituals is the
hallmark of this organization. Let's look at this group, referred to as the Masons
from here on. The intent of this author is not the judge those involved with
the Masons. It is my intent to direct them to the Truth, thereby encouraging
them to leave. The oath to commit suicide The suicide oath Masons take is as follows. "Binding
myself under no less a penalty than that of having my throat cut, my tongue
torn out by its roots, and buried in the rough sands of the sea at low water
mark where the tide ebbs and flows twice in twenty-four hours should I ever
knowingly or willingly violate this my solemn oath and obligation as an
entered apprentice Mason, so help me God, and keep me steadfast in the due
performance of the same." "Binding myself under no less a penalty than that of
having my left breast torn open, my heart plucked out and given as a prey to
the wild beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, binding myself under
no less a penalty than that of having my body severed in twain, my bowels
taken from thence and burned to ashes, the ashes scattered to the four winds
of heaven so that no more trace or remembrance may be had of so vile and
perjured a wretch as I, should I ever knowingly or willingly violate this my
solemn obligation as a Master Mason, so help me God, and keep me steadfast in
the due performance of the same." This method of suicide is promised for anyone who reveals to
an outsider the secrets and mystical meanings of the lodge. This is nowhere
taught, recognized or sanctioned in the Bible. Any religions will do Although Masons will tell you that Freemasonry is in alignment
with Biblical Christianity, that is not the case at
all. Albert Pike, who has been called by fellow Masons one of the most
distinguished Masons the Western World has ever produced, has written one of
their very important books called Morals and Dogmas. It's so important to
Masons that it appears in their edition of the Bible. They have their own
Bible known as the Hertel's Bible. And this is what
he has written: "Masonry reverences all the great reformers. It sees in
Moses, the Lawgiver of the Jews, in Confucius and Zoraster,
in Jesus of Nazareth, and in the Arabian Iconoclast, great teachers of
morality, and eminent reformers, if no more, and allows every brother of the
Order to assign to each such higher and even Divine Character as his Creed
and Truth require. We do not undervalue the importance of any Truth. We utter
no word that can be deemed irreverent by anyone of any faith. We do not tell
the Moslem that it is only important for him to believe that there is but one
God, and wholly unessential whether Mahomet was His prophet. We do not tell
the Hebrew that the Messiah whom he expects was born in Bethlehem nearly two
thousand years ago; and he is a heretic because he will not so believe. And
as little do we tell the sincere Christian that Jesus of Nazareth was but a man
like us, or His history but the unreal revival of an older legend. To do
either is beyond our jurisdiction. Masonry, of no one age, belongs to all
time; of no one religion, it finds its great truths in all. To every Mason,
there is a God; One Supreme, Infinite in Goodness, Wisdom, Foresight,
Justice, and Benevolence; Creator, Disposer, and Preserver of all things.
How, or by what intermediates He creates and acts, and in what way He unfolds
and manifests Himself, Masonry leaves to creeds and religions to
inquire," In other words, they say Masons believe in God but you can
decide who He is, what He wants, and how to reach Him. This teaching is in
direct violation of the Bible. There is no other way to God but through Jesus
Christ and Him alone. Scripture says, in John 14:6, 'Jesus said to him,
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through Me." ' In Acts 4:12, Peter said concerning
Jesus, "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other
name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." There
is no other way, contrary to what those in the lodge will tell you. Pike goes on to say, "To achieve salvation the Mason
must first attain a solid conviction founded upon reason, that he has within
himself a spiritual nature, a soul that is not to die when the body is
dissolved, but is to continue to exist and advance toward perfection through
all the ages of eternity, and to see more and more clearly, as it draws
nearer unto God, the light of the Divine Presence," . And then Pike continues: "At the Masonic altar, the
Christian, the Hebrew, the Moslem, the Brahmin, and the followers of
Confucius and Zoroaster, can assemble as brethren and unite in prayer to the
one God. The chaplain of the Masonic Lodge, who prays as the voice of the
lodge, does not pray in the name of the Carpenter of Nazareth or the name of
Jehovah or the name of Allah. He prays to the Grand Artificer or the Great
Architect of the Universe. Under that title men of all faiths may find each
other his own deity. Failure to mention any deity by
name is not denial but merely the practice of a gracious courtesy, so that
each man for whom prayer is offered can hear the name of his own deity in the
all-inclusive title of Great Architect,". In the Mason's Bible it says: "In the opening of the
lodge, the Great Architect of the Universe must be worshipped."
That's what they say. The Great Architect of the Universe must be worshipped.
Of course, that would be whoever you bowed your knees to. This is as far from Biblical Christianity as one can get. Masons teach a salvation other than that of the Bible Masons do teach a salvation. Pike, in his Morals and Dogmas
says, "To achieve salvation the Mason must first attain a solid
conviction founded upon reason, that he has within himself a spiritual
nature, a soul that is not to die when the body is dissolved, but is to
continue to exist and advance toward perfection through all the ages of
eternity, and to see more and more clearly, as it draws nearer unto God, the
light of the Divine Presence," One can, starting from within, work
through stages, until he 'draws nearer unto God'. This completely contradicts Scripture. Salvation is by grace,
through faith. One cannot work to attain it. The Bible tells us in Ephesians
2:8, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of
yourselves; it is the gift of God". Salvation is a gift to those who
put their complete trust in Jesus Christ's finished work on the cross. One
cannot earn it. Again, in Galatians 2:16, we read, "knowing that a
man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ,
even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in
Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no
flesh shall be justified". That is very clear. Scripture tells us there is nothing good inside of us in which
for us work: As it is written: "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NO, NOT
ONE; THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS; THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS AFTER GOD. THEY
HAVE ALL TURNED ASIDE; THEY HAVE TOGETHER BECOME UNPROFITABLE; THERE IS NONE
WHO DOES GOOD, NO, NOT ONE." (Romans 3:10-12) Another: "But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; ..." (Isaiah 64:6) The Bible also tells us that we die once, never to return. "And
as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment," (Hebrews 9:27). When we die, we do not return, we do not get a second chance.
After death, all men who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and
Savior will face a judgment, referred to in the Bible as the Great White
Throne Judgment. "Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it,
from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no
place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and
books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life.
And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were
written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and
Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one
according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life
was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:11-15) Masonic rites and mystic behavior It would take reams to expose all of the rites and mystic
behavior that Masons practice in the lodge. They are often referred to as
'sacred' rites. For example, the most sacred word that is given to the Master
Mason is when an initiate stands at the...what they call the "five
points of fellowship". He stands with the one who is initiating him into
the Master's class, stands toe to toe, knee to knee, chest to chest, cheek to
cheek, and mouth to ear, and has whispered into his ear, “Mah-Hah-Bone.”
And that sacred word is supposed to be the name of God. In a different order similar to the Masons, the Knights
Templar, they have another word. It is the word "Jah‑Bul‑On" what they call the Divine Trinity—Jah,
from Jehovah; Bul, from Baal; and On, from the name
of the Egyptian sun god. This comes right out of the pagan practices that
predate Egypt. Can a Christian be a Mason? No! We are told not be involved in the works of darkness. We
are told to come out from among them and be separate. We, as believers, are
told there is one God, one Lord Jesus Christ, one salvation, that being
salvation by grace through faith. The Apostle Paul says regarding anyone who
teaching any other salvation, let that person be
accursed (damned). What does one do who becomes a Christian and is already a
Mason? Renounce his oath in writing, and deliver it in person to the
Grand Master of the Lodge in which he affiliates. Then discard all masonic
material in his possession, including the ring on his finger and the masonic
emblems on his vehicles. If their wife is a member of the Eastern Star, the women's
version, have her resign. If his children are members of the DeMolays, the Masonic
organization for boys, or Rainbow Girls, for girls, have them resign also.
Instead, channel their energies into a local Bible believing church. |

NOTE TO THE READER
Every
cult in the world has three things in common:
1. They
deny salvation by grace – one must work for his salvation
2. They
deny the priesthood of the believer – on cannot understand the Bible, so
someone else tells them what to believe. They cannot go directly to God, but
must go through someone else for confirmation.
3. They
deny the eternal security of the believer – They must work to keep their
salvation, once they perceive they have it.
Scripture
makes it very clear of the danger and severity of anyone that changes the truth
regarding salvation by grace and grace only:
Galatians 1:8-9 But though we, or an
angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have
preached unto you, let him be accursed. (9) As we said before, so say I now
again, If any man preach any
other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
However,
it is our responsibility to pray for them, that they may come to the saving
knowledge of Jesus Christ, and remove themselves from this cult.
Remember,
a man will go to any length to keep from saying those three life changing
words.... “I have sinned”.
